The mat is great because no face rest, the comfort is next level, plus the size of the mat allows for more ease and opens up more potential techniques to help release those hard to get to places. Expect passive and compressive stretching, gentle traction, range of motion and specific pressure points. Kim moves around you gracefully, moving your body into yoga-like postures while using her limbs to apply perfect pressure (for you) to relieve tension, promote relaxation, and improve flexibility. Our philosophy is pain diminishes the gain. Kim will be in communication with you to help the massage affect not only your physical body but also your nervous system! Kim integrates Eastern and Western modalities including Thai Massage (Thai), TuiNa (Chinese), Shiatsu (Japanese), Myofascial Release, Acupressure, and Reflexology. If you are interested in a specific one let her know. She customizes each session to meet your unique therapeutic goals and pressure preferences. (Please wear lose or stretchy pants and a shirt that will not limit movement.)
